The House Staff may elect to join an approved HMO as an alternative. Vision care and dental care programs are benefits that are offered to all members of the house staff following one year of employment.

Numerous apartments and small homes are available in the neighborhood, and both Pennsylvania and New Jersey suburbs are readily accessible via an excellent transportation system. On campus housing options are available through the Department of Housing and Residential Life, Suite 103, 1000 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107. Phone number 215-955-4346.

All attendings have a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practioner that they primarily work with. The residents work closely with these PA's and NP's to help facilitate patient care.
