Thank you for your interest in the Thomas Jefferson University Orthopaedic residency.
We exclusively use ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) for the application process. If you are interested in applying to our program, please contact your medical school Dean's Office for your ERAS information and application packet or visit the ERAS website for more information.
If you are an international medical graduate,
please contact your local ECFMG office for more information on ERAS.
Your application and supporting documentation must be received by our office through ERAS no later than November 1. Applications received in our office after this date, will not be considered for our program.
Items required for the ERAS application include:
- Completed application form
- Medical School Transcript
- Three letters of recommendation (One letter must be a Chairman's letter. The other two letters do not have to be from Orthopaedic surgeons, but this is preferable.)
- Dean's Letter
- USMLE scores
- Personal Statement
- One photograph
Interviews
Unfortunately, we are unable to interview all the candidates. Interviews are
scheduled by invitation only. If invited for an interview, you will receive a written letter informing you of the time and place.
